Our Oktoberfest fundraiser was a great time with lots of food, music, dancing and a fun photo op thanks to Terry. I was happy to see many people dressing in the Oktoberfest theme as well. Thanks to Jola, more pictures are posted on the team’s Facebook page where you can see videos of the dance moves and photos of the fun outfits. Thank you DJ Fox for the lively music!

I want to give a big thank you to members of the team who volunteered to bring in the sound system and supply bins, helped to move food and beverages upstairs, set up tables, chairs and decorations, and came early to help prepare platters of food and set up the bar. To those who helped serve drinks and sell tickets, wash dishes, kept tables cleared through the night and helped put it all away at the end. It couldn’t have been done without your efforts.

I still have a few costs to settle before we have a final report but at this time, I can tell you that we have made approximately $1,300! 63 tickets were sold, and of those, 39 tickets were purchased by members. Our newbies represented approximately 25% of the member ticket sales!
