About the Inlet Spring Regatta
The Inlet Spring Regatta is an annual dragon boat race owned and operated by Nothin’ Dragon Paddling Society. Held each April on Burrard Inlet at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, the regatta attracts dragon boat teams from throughout the region and the United States for one of the first regattas of the racing season. The event features exciting 200-metre races in 20-person BUK boats.

Location
The Inlet Spring Regatta is held in the City of Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada. Burrard Inlet has been home to the Indigenous peoples of the Musqueam, Sḵwxwú7mesh and Tsleil-waututh, who have resided in this territory for thousands of years.
Port Moody is a city in Metro Vancouver, at the east end of Burrard Inlet. Known as the City of the Arts, Port Moody is bordered by Coquitlam on the east and south, and Burnaby on the west. The regatta venue, Rocky Point Park, offers a beautiful waterfront setting with local favourites including Pajo’s Fish & Chips, Rocky Point Ice Cream and nearby Brewers Row, home to several local craft breweries and a distillery—all within a short walk of the race site.

We acknowledge that we host this event on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the shared traditional territories of the səl̓ilw̓ət (Tsleil-Waututh), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼʷa̓ ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stóō (Sto) and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nations who have resided here for thousands of years.
