Missing our time on the water thanks to everyone who went kayaking at Deer Lake starting July 13. If you’ve not been to kayaking on Mondays as yet, this will be replacing our dryland class with Kris. He will be leading us in technique in kayaking, which he says is similar to the dragon boat stroke.
We had a great turnout on the first night, July 13, and we will be going out each Monday as long as there is interest.
Brian’s message below:
From our prez Brian: “July 27 will be our third kayak night and in conversation with the manager I was told that they only have 12 single and 12 tandem kayaks to rent, so when on the Doodle be ready to increase your COVID bubble if the 12 singles are spoken for I am sure negotiations can be made if you are determined to go single and only tandems are available. How about bringing a friend or family member to be with you?”
