While bars and liquor stores were forced to close at 8 p.m. by way of public health order to curb the spread of people wanting to get lucky on the night dedicated to St. Patrick, our merry band of yoga enthusiasts and those that love to don green turned up for a light-hearted Zoom pub night on March 17.
While this gathering had no agenda, Robbin and Pat delivered a couple of activities to get things going. Breakout rooms conversed about a favourite green food and Pat W. put together another fab Kahoot ensemble of St. Patty's Day trivia. Dorota stole the pot of gold (bragging rights).
We also noted our leprechaun names, Ie. Robbin was Naughty Stubby Toes.
Mary and her new pup, aptly named Bailey were our special guests and a big round of applause to those that dressed in green and sparkled for the evening. Ric showed up better late than never, and Sally spoke in sign language and a super grin until she was able to sort out her connection. Meanwhile, Darlene checked in for one minute to announce she had two other Zoom parties in progress and would be back. The party girl did return in the end.
Thanks to Warren who kept the conversation going and showed off the quilt Marlene made for him featuring raccoons while entertaining us with raccoon rescue stories.
Paddy O’Brian was the life of the party, but alas, had a wee too much Jameson, so had to head into the clover earlier than usual.
Paddy O’Brian, a relative of Pati O’ Furniture had a bit too much Jameson.
