Thank you for donating your returnables to NDPS through the Return-It Depot. Since Oct. 1, 2023 we have made over $400! This is a great fundraiser and easy to do.

However, Return-it suspended our account last week because they found broken glass and packaging in some of our bags. They have reopened our account so go ahead and drop off your returnables.

Here is a reminder of what to do:

  1. Put your returnables in a clear, plastic garbage bag.
Returnables are any drink containers that you paid a deposit on at the time of purchase. It can be any clear, plastic garbage bag you have or you can get some bags from Bob or Pat Walton.

  2. Place a label on the bag.
You can print labels at the Return-it depot by using my phone number 778 847 9293 or by getting labels from Bob and Pat.

  3. Scan your label.
Some Return-it depots want the customer to scan the label. Some depots do it themselves.

Please remember to:

  • Drain your containers of liquids

  • Do not put in beverage containers purchased outside of BC

  • Use common sense when filling the bag with glass bottles. They recommend a maximum of 12 glass bottles in a bag.

  • Do not put non refundable recyclables, such as coffee cups, paper, plastic, etc. in the bag with the returnables.

If you have any questions, you can contact me at bpwalton@hotmail.ca or 778 847 9293

Thank you! Drink up and take it away!
